Entrepreneur Connect Africa has since inception, created a movement of entrepreneurs who are on a mission to share insights, experiences and support through buying from each other as well as recommending each other where relevant products/services are required.
Challenges
Entrepreneur Connect Africa (EC-Africa) is looking to build Africa’s largest database with verified businesses and entrepreneurs. The fully functional Web based App will also serve as a meeting point for Funders and Businesses owners who are seeking partnerships that suit their current objectives.
This cloud native web app will be hosted in AWS. Using services these services: Amazon Cognito, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS MySQL, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon Route 53, Amazon ECS. And these developer tools: Amazon CodePipeline, Amazon CodeWhisperer, AWS CDK
Solution
CI/CD Pipeline Setup:
Continuous Integration (CI): Utilized AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and mirrored Bitbucket to CodeCommit to automate build and testing workflows.
Continuous Delivery (CD): Implemented AWS CodeDeploy to automate the deployment process to various environments (development, QA, production).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Used AWS CloudFormation to manage and provision infrastructure resources in a consistent and repeatable manner.
Monitoring and Logging: Integrated AWS CloudWatch for comprehensive monitoring and logging, enabling real-time insights into application performance and issues.
